Bad Girls

 THE BAD GIRLS CLUB
I have to pick the bad girls club. This T.V reality show is insane.
It displays woman who are living the high life, with no responsibilitys what so ever.
Every single day this immature ridiculously insane females get up and start in on their primisious behaviors, sleeping with each other and random men on the spur of the moment. Not to mention the sheer volume of liquor these females consume on a daily bases. It's only a miracle that these ladies have not been killed by alcohol pousioning. Oh and ofcourse it has to be said their distinct urge to always stir the pot. These females act so vindictive and manipulative always going behind eachothers backs and talking crap, putting hands on each other, and looking for ways to stir the pot. In deep thought one would say they give woman a bad name.
Don't be mistaken no home training would indicate an even worse idicite in public. For these woman they literally do not give a damn if their privates are on display, at the club in the house or in the living room of millions of veiwers. Their behavior is inapropreate at all times.
I have to be honest, I watch it. This is what sales. People love to be right in the middle of other people's drama. It's almost as if it is some what entertaining. For me I think it's funny. I find entertainment in it. At times I even feel that it is all made up.
The T.V. industray has built up an image for itself just as the music industray has. This is why Mr. Rodgers was replaced by Yogio, you can't honestly see Mr. Rodger and his little engine that could story on tradeing cards could you?
It's an image all about rateings which is Money.
Sexy girls having sex with each other and random men who also are fighting every chance they get sales. It appeals to a large audience. This means ratings are high and money will be made.
It is like this for most reality based T.V shows. For some, for instance Jhon and Kate Plus 8 they exploit each other to the ninth degree. It is hard to understand what they are thinking when it comes to exploiting their children. I used to watch it, but then it turned into something else. It hurt my heart to see the nations ratings go sky high when it came the scandel of infidelity on both Jhon and Kates part. That is an ugly and a hurt that I feel someone should not be subjecting to the nation.
Once again this is the reality that our world has come too. It sales. Money is the root to all evil, call me crazy but in my eyes this is purely for money. Entertainment always comes with a price.
My opinion on the issue of this shows staying on the air well eventually they will get boreing and the rateings will go down. They will be replaced by bigger better more drama in them reality shows. It’s a constant cycle. So sure they will go off the air but they will be replaced always leaving reality T.V. in some way.

  1. Personally, I don’t really care for much reality television, the only reason I watch any of it is because my girlfriend loves it. She is a huge fan of the drama and scandal because it does make good television like you said. I prefer to stick to the political news channels so that I can see what is going on in the world around me. I guess that could be construed some way into a “reality TV” genre, it is on television, and it is based on reality.

Even though all everyone loves the reality TV for the drama, scandal, and unpredictability, I think it is all a bunch of garbage. John and Kate were paid so much money by the companies to allow constant filming, along with product endorsements; it really comes as no surprise to me that both parties started to look outside the marriage. It was a way to get out of the contract before it terminated. But at the same time, the producers fell in love with it because ratings skyrocketed with the scandal and the talk of infertility, it seemed as everyone in America was watching the final episodes. It sounded to me like the producers maybe wanted a little drama and fighting the entire run of the show to add excitement to the series; and when it culminated to a divorce, that was unexpected, but worth every penny that they had invested.

  2. This show definitely is one of the most watched reality shows out there right now. Like you, I also watch it and think it's funny. It will for sure be out there for a while. People do funny things sometimes even if it's stupid and this is entertainment.Watching this actually makes me appreciate how mature I am and that life is not always a party with alcohol and no responsibilities. I love the fact that my life is stable and I don't need to prove anything to anyone. I also once watched John and Kate Plus 8 and agree that it was not the same once they broke up. the show was about a family with 8 kids and it turned into a show about their divorce. It's the ugly truth but no one wants to see someone go through that. It should be a private thing kept within the family. Once it gets very personal, it's no longer entertainment. I talked about 16 and Pregnant in my blog. This show gets a lot of mixed emotions from viewers. Some people find it cool to get pregnant, while others will take more precautions to avoid teen pregnancy. I believe it gives a good message by showing the real struggles that a teen mom goes through with school, being a teen, and being a mom.

  3. I rarely watch reality TV, and shows like this are the reason why I am discouraged by them. In a way it is funny and a bit disgusting though how people are willing to expose themselves out there to the public about their personal lives and just for the entertainment or shock value they add in that extra drama of alcohol and sex abuse. I do not understand how people can want this type of life or would purposely act like idiots just to entertain others. But apparently this is exactly what people want to watch. I guess like you said, people want to be right in the middle of all the action and they want to be updated about every little detail of someone’s life. To me, that is way too extreme for me, I just cannot seem to understand why people are so obsessed with dysfunctional families and how they can possible gain any entertainment from it. I also do not believe that any family whatsoever is actually as dysfunctional as TV claims them to be, I think it is just the producers trying to maintain the attention of their viewers and have them over dramatize things.

  4. I don’t personally watch Bad Girls Club but everything I’ve ever heard about it is exactly what you just said. Those women have no responsibilities, they are vindictive, and they just get drunk every night ect. Ect. There are lots of shows out there like this I think Jersey Shore and The Real World are other examples of the same exact thing. I’m also guilty of watching reality shows as well. Even though I think a lot if not all of it is staged, there is just something about the way these people live their lives that is appealing to ordinary people who live in the actual real world not MTVs version. It’s called reality T.V. but I think many people few it as a sort of fantasy life that they will never have so they like to watch other people live it. I have to admit that sometimes I watch other peoples drama and problems to escape my own, or to realize that some of my problems aren’t so bad and it could always be worse. Like the show 16 and pregnant. I thought I was really young when I had my son at 22 years old, but some of these poor girls are 15 16 years old. It’s just so sad to watch them go through all of that at such a young age but it does make me realize that I wasn’t so young and my problems could always be worse.

  5. I don't know about money being the root of all that is evil but I will say that it sure is easy to be curropted by it. I'm a theater actress so I find myself feeling stuck about being paid to entertain. Everyday it gets harder to deliver entertainment without feeding the people filth like this tv show you are talking about. And it's true that if you dont keep up with the drama and nasty, you will be replaced by something worse which apparently is more entertaining. However, I try to keep my faith in the human race and hope that there will always be people willing to watch tv shows or go to the movies or the theater and see decent stories being told and not the filth that most people watch.

I try not to be supportive of shows like this but like you said, sometimes it is funny how detatched these people are from reality. I get the same kick of Jersey Shore. It's like they are in their own little world of clueless-ness. I try not to watch it because I don't want them to get viewers but sometimes it's just addicting how ridiculous these people are!

  6. Yea, I used to watch Bad Girls Club all the time but I feel like recent seasons have made a turn for the worse. Before, it was actually kind of entertaining and they did fight and stuff but it seemed more authentic. Now it’s like every episode there’s some huge fight between two new girls and girls are kicked out left and right. The show is no longer about having a good time in the house, it’s all about causing drama and trouble. It astonishes me the level these girls take it to. Who throws bleach at another person?! I agree with you in that it gives women a bad name, because instead of lifting each other up, they are constantly trying to tear each other down and calling each other names. If we call other women whores, skanks, hoes, bitches, whatever, it only gives men the idea that it’s okay to call women by those names as well. Money is what ultimately matters in the reality television business, and yes, drama brings ratings. That’s just the world we live in today. I stopped watching Bad Girls Club because it’s not even funny or amusing whatsoever anymore, it’s all about the fighting. Why would I want to watch a show with a bunch of girls running around doing nothing but causing problems? No thanks.
