I was asked to write about my feelings on any artist that came to mind from any genre, that I felt had a negative description through the press.
Lindsey Lohan. I can not believe the way that the press exploits her bad decisions in life. I have to say however that her indiscretions are really not so minor.
Most recently in the press Was the jewelry heist. They made her out to look like an evil monster who stole a $2,500 necklace. I have to ad mitt the circumstances were very odd. When you take in the fact the her estate could have purchased the entire store, it does seem very stupid to have or buy are what ever the circumstances were in that situation.
The press exploits the artist in their every move, not just musicians either. They go after the stars as well. I'm just take a look at Sandra Bullock, that poor girl. As if Jesse James did not hurt her enough now the tabloids have to tell everyone everything. It's just not right.
I always like they way they talk up the teen favorites, for instance Miylie Cryus, better known as Hanna Montana. They way the press talks about her you would think she was some kind of teen hero and in reality her behavior has been just as sticky as some of the others I have mentioned.
What I am trying to say is that it really doesn't matter how the press describes Artists or Stars the results can be negative.
I feel that instead of trying to portray people that the press should just state the facts, leave out emotion or their bias opinion. The truth is the truth if they cut out all the bull then they will have not portrayed anyone in any way they would just be simply stating the facts. That's safe and honest. If it were more like that at the end of the day the person the press was talking about could only blame themselves.
I'm sure if I did this one correct but to me it just seems crazy to rewrite lies or negative words about anyone person. It felt better touching basis with it and explaining how I feel about it.
Every artist on the face of this planet is subject to random verbal bashing. Do I agree with it? No. That is just the way it is. I mean expression is a form of art right? Well isn't there constitutional laws protecting the right to art, sure, but the same location of those laws is also the location for the laws protecting the press. Really you can not win for losing. This is life the way that it is and I presume the way it will remain. :)
